As the new year begins I want to take stock of this website. It contains more than one thousand posts, but most of these are Recent Releases, dating back to 2011. The things that made writing the print version of Filmbobbery so fun for me, the articles and discussions about movies both new and old, are in short supply. I will try to correct this in the new year.

I plan on doing more than just review movies at theatres, which is pretty much all I have been doing for the past few years. I will restart the Movies of the Month series, add articles to the Forum and see what else I can come up with to revive this site and get back to actually writing about movies again. It’s been too long.

I also welcome comments about specific reviews or articles, or prompts to write about certain topics or personalities. The feedback is one of the factors that made the print version to memorable and enjoyable to me, and the subscribers who participated in the process. I’d like to revive that spirit, too. So as 2020 begins, I pledge to try to make this a more worthwhile website in any way that I can.
