Yes, I’ve already seen Top Gun: Maverick — on July 7 — and gave it an excellent three-and-a-half star review.  Well I’ve just seen it again, and it’s even better.  More thrilling, with deeper characterizations and meaning than I was giving it proper credit for.  With respect to Elvis, which I also was thrilled by, I must amend what I said in that review and state that Top Gun: Maverick is the best film (of the new movies being made) that I have seen this year.  ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆.  4 September 2022.
